Come experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest as we enjoy the sights and sounds of THREE world-class cities – Seattle, Bellevue, & Victoria, British Columbia. Our convention is based at the new Downtown Bellevue Courtyard by Marriott.
The city of Bellevue is located approximately 12 miles from downtown Seattle, just a short drive across Lake Washington. It is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States with world-class shopping and dining all just a short walk from the hotel. Come early and stay late to visit the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Mt. Rainier, the San Juan Islands, the Cascade Mountains, or the Olympic Peninsula.
We are blessed to have some of the finest instruments and musicians in the country. We are very excited to feature a day-trip to one of the top destinations in Canada – the charming city of Victoria. Enjoy the smooth speed of the Victoria Clipper jet-powered catamaran as we cruise the Puget Sound. Keep an eye out for Orca whales, bald eagles and sea lions on the way! A valid passport is required for this trip.
For those not wanting to go to Victoria, there is an alternate schedule planned in Seattle that includes a tour and demonstration recital on the Watjen concert organ at Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony.
All this and so much more! Mark your calendars today and plan to attend AGO Seattle 2009 – How Sweet the Sound…
