Zion Lutheran Church of Kent, 25105 132nd Ave SE, Kent WA, is seeking a part-time Music Coordinator to select hymns, anthems, and other worship music; play piano and/or pipe organ for one Sunday & other seasonal worship services; and direct the adult choir & occasional instrumental groups. The choir sings at least one Sunday a month. The Music Director will select a variety of traditional and contemporary music and lead the congregation in song. Annual salary range is $22,500 – 30,000. St Paul’s Anglo/Catholic Episcopal Church, 15 Roy St, Box 9070, Seattle WA 98109, 206-214-7650 seeks a 0.5 FTE Director of Music (with potential to expand in the first year). Responsibilities include providing music for a 10:30 am Sunday mass including prelude, postlude and improvised offertory as well as directing the parish choir; selecting and accompanying hymns and service music and supervising paid singers and both paid & volunteer instrumentalists. Providing music at special masses throughout the liturgical year, including Saints Days. Weekly meetings with both the Rector and all staff plus a staff retreat. The church has a 1963 G. Spath mechanical action organ, a George Steck grand piano, a Young Chang upright piano and Petit & Fritsen hand bells. A degree in Music, Music Education or Performance is required.
